New integrations: DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Productions and Kubernetes

Helmut4 expands with DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Productions and Kubernetes support
At IBC 2026, we gave a first look at the next stage of Helmut4 development. The focus: giving post-production teams more flexibility when it comes to creative applications, project structures and deployment environments.
Three developments are at the center of this next step: DaVinci Resolve integration, Adobe Productions support and Kubernetes deployment.
Together, they underline a broader direction for Helmut4: becoming an increasingly open connecting layer for professional post-production workflows.
DaVinci Resolve integration
Helmut4 has traditionally been closely integrated with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and Audition, while also supporting Avid Pro Tools.
With the upcoming DaVinci Resolve integration, Helmut4 is expanding its reach across professional editing environments.
The goal is not to replace existing creative tools, but to connect them within a common workflow framework. Project management, automation and orchestration can remain consistent while teams gain more freedom in the applications they use.
For mixed post-production environments, this opens up new possibilities for building workflows around the production process rather than around a single editing application.
Support for Adobe Productions
Helmut4 is also expanding its integration with Adobe environments through support for Adobe Productions.
Adobe Productions provides a structured approach for managing larger Premiere Pro projects and collaborative editing environments. By supporting this model, Helmut4 can integrate more closely with the way larger Premiere Pro setups are organized.
This allows project structures, workflow automation and Helmut4 orchestration to align with Adobe Productions-based environments.
For teams working with larger productions and more complex project structures, this creates another way to combine creative workflows with centralized process management.
Kubernetes deployment
The third development goes beyond the editing environment itself.
In addition to Docker and Docker Swarm, Helmut4 will support deployment of the backend and client on Kubernetes clusters.
This gives organizations another option for integrating Helmut4 into modern IT infrastructures and cloud-native environments.
For larger or more distributed setups, Kubernetes can provide additional flexibility in areas such as deployment architecture, scalability and infrastructure management.
The addition of Kubernetes support therefore expands not only the technical deployment options for Helmut4, but also the range of environments in which the platform can operate.
One direction: more flexibility across the entire workflow
Although these three developments address different areas, they follow the same principle.
Helmut4 is evolving toward a platform that can connect:
- different creative applications
- project and production structures
- workflow automation and orchestration
- modern IT and deployment environments
The aim is to give media teams more freedom when designing their production architecture without losing the central workflow logic that connects the individual systems.
More creative tools. One connecting layer. More ways to deploy.
